The Role

We currently seek to fill the role of Partnerships and Projects Officer (PPO) who will have the chance to make a civic impact in the Philippines and beyond and grow a career in a young non-profit. The work is hybrid and will be mostly on a work-from-home arrangement. It will also require some travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in the partnerships portfolio development and management of the foundation.
  • Help establish and institutionalize partnership systems and processes.
  • In close coordination with the Campaigns Office, develop partnership materials and document templates.
  • Assume responsibility and demonstrate technical flexibility in pursuing strategic partnerships with different types of organizations - i.e., government organizations (GOs), non-government organizations (NGOs), private sector, etc.
  • Pursue strategic networking, lead partnership pitches, and facilitate the negotiation and agreement of partnership terms.
  • Prepare, finalize, and manage proposals, agreements, and all other partnership documents.
  • Coordinate and manage relations with partners and all parties connected to active partnerships.
  • In close coordination with the Campaigns Office, engage in marketing activities highlighting the development advocacy of the foundation to develop strategic partnerships and implement projects.
  • Help in all aspects of the project management (PM) of all projects especially with active partnerships.
  • Monitor performance of every partnership, providing regular updates and recommendations to management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to partnerships and projects.
  • Report directly and regularly to the Executive Director.

Qualifications​
​​

  • University degree in Development Communication, Community Development, or other related social science courses
  • At least one (1) year of experience in Development Communication, Non-profit Networking, Community Development, or Project Management, or can demonstrate high potential if a fresh graduate
  • Work experience in a non-profit setting is highly desirable
  • Can demonstrate work-from-home reliability and outputs
  • Skilled in using project management tools
  • Has a strong commitment to work in a non-profit start-up setting
  • Shares the development advocacy and core values of Create Foundation
  • Innovative and creative in making solutions
  • Excellent command of the English Language (both written and verbal)
