We're Hiring: Project Officer – Special Projects

The CICS (Camara Institute for Chiropractic Sciences) Team is looking for a Project Officer to join our team This role will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of priority initiatives that drive innovation and impact across the organization. The Project Officer will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure. What You'll Do:

1. Project Management and Coordination

  • Assist in the execution of projects by developing work plans, timelines, and deliverables in coordination with the Program Director.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare status reports.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

2. Research and Development

  • Conduct research and gather data to support project documentation, resource mobilization, and project recommendations.
  • Assist in coordinating opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, or innovations relevant to the deliverables required.

3. Administrative and Logistical Support

  • Organize and document meetings, workshops, and events related to projects.
  • Manage project-related correspondence, records, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and requirements.

4. Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track budgets, expenses, and resource allocation for projects.
  • Draft reports, presentations, and updates for internal leadership and external
  • stakeholders.
  • Evaluate outcomes and lessons learned to inform future projects.

What We're Looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Development Studies, Psychology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in project management, program support, or administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in documentation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with NGOs, government agencies, or corporate special projects is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in PPT, Excel, and Word, Canva, and Project Management tools are an advantage
