Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with line cooks, cashiers, and stock staff to make sure food is prepared on time and meets quality standards.
  • Make sure kitchen tools, equipment, and systems are working properly by following cleaning and basic troubleshooting procedures.
  • Follow all food safety and workplace safety rules, and coordinate with the Kitchen Head or Operations team when needed.
  • Handle some administrative tasks to support the Operations department.

Other Tasks:

  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized, and store food properly at every stage of preparation.
  • Help the team stay compliant with kitchen quality audits by maintaining equipment and systems.
  • Accurately track inventory use to reduce waste and improve accountability.
  • Take part in training, especially for food preparation.
  • Know and follow food safety and sanitation rules, and regularly check if procedures are being followed properly.
  • Make sure all staff follow the CQSMA standards: Cleanliness, Quality, Service, Maintenance, and Atmosphere.
  • Do other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a kitchen.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays (6 days a week).
  • Preferably available to start right away.
