Inventory Analyst for FMCG

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to join our team. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, monitoring stock movements, analyzing trends, and supporting efficient inventory control processes to ensure smooth warehouse and logistics operations.

  1. Monitor and analyze inventory levels of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials to support continuous production and avoid stockouts.
  2. Conduct daily reconciliation between physical and system inventory to ensure data accuracy and traceability.
  3. Track batch numbers, expiration dates, and shelf life of all ingredients in compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  4. Coordinate with Procurement and Production Planning teams to ensure timely replenishment and optimal stock levels.
  5. Prepare and analyze inventory reports (usage trends, variances, slow-moving and near-expiry items).
  6. Validate and record material issuances, receipts, transfers, and adjustments in the ERP/WMS system.
  7. Support cycle counting and annual physical inventory activities, ensuring proper documentation of results and corrective actions.
  8. Monitor storage conditions and warehouse capacity utilization for ingredients and packaging materials.
  9. Recommend process improvements to reduce waste, improve turnover, and strengthen stock accuracy.
  10. Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with product traceability and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years experience in inventory management, preferably in FMCG, logistics, or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
