Job Summary

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing inventory levels to support efficient operations. This role ensures accurate stock records, minimizes shortages or excess, and collaborates with Procurement and Warehouse teams. The Inventory Analyst identifies trends, prepares inventory reports, recommends process improvements, and ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Analyze stock levels, trends, and variances to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Production to support timely material availability.
  • Prepare inventory reports, forecasts, and KPIs for management review.
  • Assist in inventory audits and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
  • Recommend process improvements for inventory control and optimization.
  • Support warehouse operations in stock movement, labeling, and reconciliation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years experience in inventory control, materials management, or supply chain, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management tools.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
