Job Summary

The Procurement Analyst supports the procurement function by analyzing purchasing data, monitoring supplier performance, and providing actionable insights to improve sourcing efficiency and reduce costs. This role collaborates with the Procurement Manager, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, adherence to company policies, and compliance with quality standards. The Procurement Analyst identifies opportunities for supplier rationalization, cost savings, and process improvements while maintaining accurate procurement records and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and procurement risks.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support supplier evaluation processes.
  • Assist in sourcing, vendor selection, and negotiation activities.
  • Prepare procurement reports, dashboards, and forecasts for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Operations, QA, and Finance for timely material delivery and inventory management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
