Job description
  • Supervise warehouse staff in receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching materials and products.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles.
  • Oversee inventory control processes and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with procurement, production, and distribution teams.
  • Monitor and maintain proper storage conditions for raw materials and finished goods (e.g., temperature, humidity, pest control).
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in monthly/annual inventory audits.
  • Implement and enforce safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols in line with HACCP, GMP, and company SOPs.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and material handling procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit reports on inventory status, warehouse performance, and discrepancies.
  • Train and mentor junior warehouse staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory systems, warehouse best practices, and food industry regulations (FDA, GMP, HACCP).
  • Proficient in ERP or WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Physically fit and capable of overseeing physical inventory and warehouse inspections.
