Job description

Responsible for sourcing and purchasing construction materials, conducting price comparisons, and maintaining a comprehensive database of suppliers. This role requires strong negotiation skills, market awareness, and attention to detail to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and source locally available construction materials to meet company needs.
  • Conduct thorough price comparisons to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize costs and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain and update a detailed supplier database, including pricing, lead times, and reliability.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to track stock levels and anticipate purchasing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
  • Prepare reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • With 2 years prior work experience in a gen-con company.
  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in construction materials or a related industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
