Job Summary:
The HR Assistant supports performing a variety of clerical tasks. This role ensures smooth operations by assisting with recruitment, employee documentation, and general support.
Key Responsibilities: Human Resources Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment process: job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews
- Support onboarding processes including preparing contracts and organizing orientations
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- Monitor attendance records, leave applications, and timekeeping systems
- Help coordinate performance evaluation processes and training sessions
- Respond to HR-related inquiries and assist with policy implementation
- Assist in payroll preparation by compiling employee data (e.g., absences, overtime)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Management, or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in HR or administrative roles
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with HRIS or office management software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- High level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism
- Ability to multitask and work independently
Work Environment:
- Office-based role with occasional fieldwork or interdepartmental coordination
- May require flexible hours during audits, special projects, or events
