Job Title: HR Assistant
Location: Remote (must be able to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST)
SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy HR Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting US or Canadian companies, who can handle a mix of HR administration, recruitment, payroll, and operations. The HR Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, supporting compliance, assisting with recruitment, and contributing to daily HR operations. Beyond HR, the role will also provide support in LinkedIn management and employer branding to help strengthen our company's presence and attract top talent. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable using technology and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, ATS platforms, and Canva.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, scheduling, and ATS management.
- Handle day-to-day HR administration including employee records, contracts, onboarding, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with payroll coordination and timesheet verification.
- Provide HR operational support to managers and employees as needed.
- Support LinkedIn management and employer branding initiatives to enhance talent attraction.
- Prepare HR reports, maintain HR databases, and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate on special projects, process improvements, and policy updates.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably with US or Canadian companies.
- Knowledge of HR administration, recruitment, and payroll processes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using HRIS/ATS systems.
- Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity), Canva, and general productivity platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
Work Schedule
- Must be available to work Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
