Job Description:

We are seeking a Payroll and Benefits Officer to oversee and manage the full-cycle payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely release of employee salaries. This role also involves administering employee benefits and ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws and statutory regulations. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Payroll Processing: Manage and oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely salary releases.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer statutory benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG, as well as company-provided benefits like HMO enrollment and coverage management.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate employee records for enrollments, updates, and separations across government portals and HMO systems.
  • Processing Government Loans & Claims: Ensure timely submission of government loans, reimbursements, and claims with complete and accurate documentation.
  • Coordination with External Partners: Work closely with HMO providers and other external partners for seamless benefits administration.
  • Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal company policies related to payroll and benefits.
  • Employee Orientation & Communication: Conduct employee orientations on payroll and benefits policies, providing updates on any changes to policies or processes.
  • Reporting & Audits: Prepare payroll and HR reports, support internal audits, and assist in special HR projects or initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years in payroll, compensation & benefits, or HR operations.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll procedures, statutory contributions, and benefits administration.
  • Compliance Expertise: Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and HR compliance standards.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with HRIS platforms and familiarity with payroll system improvements is an advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to confidentiality and sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
