Job Summary:

The Event Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing and sales initiatives related to events, functions, and promotions. The role focuses on generating leads, maintaining client relationships, supporting event logistics, and ensuring brand consistency in all marketing efforts to drive revenue and enhance the property's visibility.

Sales & Client Relations

  • Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities for events, functions, and group bookings.
  • Respond to event and function inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare event proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Maintain an updated database of clients and prospects.
  • Follow up on leads, negotiate event packages, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Support the Sales Manager in achieving monthly and annual revenue targets.

Event Coordination

  • Coordinate with operations, food and beverage, and front office teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Attend and supervise events when required to ensure all details meet client expectations.
  • Prepare event orders, floor plans, and checklists for internal coordination.
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups and gather client feedback.

Marketing Support

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, both online and offline.
  • Manage content creation for social media, newsletters, and event promotions.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots for marketing materials.
  • Maintain marketing databases, digital files, and promotional inventory.
  • Support in organizing promotional activities, fairs, and corporate partnerships.

Administrative Duties

  • Prepare sales and marketing reports as required.
  • Maintain an updated calendar of events and marketing schedules.
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends.
  • Assist in budget tracking for events and marketing expenses.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or event coordination (hospitality background preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Creative, proactive, and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
