HR Assistant

The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department at Buffalo Avenue. This position involves a wide range of administrative and operational tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including preparing employment contracts, conducting new hire orientations, and ensuring necessary paperwork is completed.
- Employee Records Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, leave records, and performance reviews.
- Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Benefits Administration:
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off policies.
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and claims.
- Payroll Support:
- Provide administrative support to the payroll department, such as collecting time sheets, verifying hours worked, and processing payroll adjustments.
- General HR Administration:
- Handle general HR inquiries and provide administrative support to HR managers and staff.
- Assist in organizing HR events, such as employee training and development programs
