Position Overview

The Accounting Staff is responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the company's restaurant brands. This role ensures accurate recording of transactions, timely reporting, efficient handling of store-level expenses, and proper monitoring of Profit & Loss (P&L) performance to guide management decisions.

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Financial Operations

  • Record daily sales reports from POS and third-party delivery platforms.
  • Reconcile cash, credit card, and e-wallet transactions.
  • Monitor daily store deposits and validate with bank statements.
  • Track and record Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

2. Restaurant Cost Monitoring

  • Validate supplier invoices and delivery receipts (meat, produce, packaging, commissary).
  • Monitor food cost, operating expenses, and variances versus standard cost.
  • Assist in inventory reconciliation and spot audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure proper documentation of spoilage, breakages, and wastage reports.

3. Profit & Loss (P&L) Support

  • Assist in preparing monthly P&L statements for each store.
  • Analyze variances in sales, cost of goods sold, labor cost, and operating expenses.
  • Coordinate with Operations for explanation of variances and corrective actions.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries for management.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain organized filing of invoices, receipts, contracts, and store documents.
  • Prepare documents needed for BIR compliance, annual audits, and financial reviews.
  • Support the Finance and Treasury team for scheduled remittances and reporting.

5. Coordination with Stores & Departments

  • Communicate with store managers regarding shortages, discrepancies, and outstanding documents.
  • Work with Purchasing and Commissary teams to validate orders and deliveries.
  • Provide needed financial data for management meetings.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or Finance-related course.
  • 1–2years accounting experience, preferably in restaurant, F&B, or retail industry.
  • Knowledgeable in P&L statements, food cost, and basic financial analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets, accounting software, and POS data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • With good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple branches.
