Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and requisitions in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain and update the approved supplier database.
  • Monitor and track deliveries, lead times, and order status to ensure timely arrival of materials.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and warehouse staff to determine material requirements.
  • Review supplier performance and recommend improvements or alternatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and procurement documentation.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives and assist in budgeting and forecasting for procurement needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineer
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Officer, Purchasing Staff, or MEFPS
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with FPS systems is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
