Duties and Responsibilities for Sales Manager

  • Source and purchase goods, materials, and services required for manufacturing and construction operations
  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the most cost-effective deals
  • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate order placement
  • Monitor and track inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier contracts, and delivery timelines
  • Evaluate vendor performance regularly to ensure compliance with quality and service standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to align procurement with construction schedules
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and cost saving
