Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and mark surfaces to be fitted with glass
  • Cut glass to specified dimensions using tools such as glass cutters or saws

  • Remove old or broken glass and prepare surfaces for new installation
  • Apply putty, caulking, or adhesives to secure glass in frames
  • Operate lifts or scaffolding as needed for high installations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order
  • Ensure installations comply with safety codes and company standards
  • Interact with clients professionally and respectfully on-site
  • Work independently or as part of a team under minimal supervision
