About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Hotel Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of our hotel's facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that all building systems, equipment, and utilities are well-maintained to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and emergency repairs of various systems and inspections of mechanical rooms, guest rooms, and public areas to identify maintenance needs.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest and staff maintenance requests and resolves issue efficiently.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel equipment, systems, and facilities.
  • Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of tools/materials.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and compliance with hotel safety standards, local codes, and government regulations.
  • Support hotel operations by ensuring facilities are always in optimal condition.

Qualifications

  • Vocational course/ Completed TESDA training
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Hands-on skills in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems (HVAC, ,elevators, refrigerator, motor control, generator, fire safety systems and FDAS, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as required.
