Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Handyman to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks for a hotel set-up. The ideal candidate will have experience handling general repairs, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other maintenance duties to ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general fixes
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Assemble, install, and maintain fixtures and equipment as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work and materials used
  • Collaborate with management and other staff to prioritize tasks and projects

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance worker
  • Broad knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair work
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to handle manual labor and lifting
  • Valid driver's license preferred (if travel between sites is required)
  • Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus
  • Flexible scheduling options
