Sales Executive

The Sales Executive (Travel) is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring, developing, and managing corporate accounts. This role combines strategic sales planning with hands-on execution to deliver customized corporate travel solutions that support clients' business objectives. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, client-focused, and experienced in B2B relationship management.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies targeting corporate clients to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's presence across multiple industries.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
Client Consultation & Solution Design
- Assess corporate travel and MICE requirements and recommend tailored travel solutions aligned with client goals, budgets, and policies.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client pain points and delivering value-driven recommendations.
Proposal & Account Management
- Prepare accurate, competitive, and compelling proposals in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles, from initial engagement to contract closure and onboarding.
Revenue Optimization & Performance Management
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, and pricing structures to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure margin control and revenue sustainability.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate accounts, ensuring consistent service excellence and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular account reviews to measure satisfaction, identify growth opportunities, and improve client retention.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to continuously refine sales strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high client satisfaction.
Reporting & Sales Insights
- Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and key metrics, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field (MBA is an advantage)
- At least 2–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in corporate travel, MICE, or B2B environments
- Demonstrated track record in client acquisition, account management, and revenue generation
Skills & Competencies
- Strong client relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strategic and analytical mindset with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in CRM systems; familiarity with travel platforms, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint is a plus
- Results-driven, adaptable, collaborative, and accountable professional with high business acumen
