Position Title: National Field Representative – Digital and Technical Information

Department: Safety Services

Reports to: Safety Services Training Unit Head and Manager

Direct Reports: 2

Location: PRC Tower

Purpose Statement

To create and implement internal and external communications strategies, and produce communication materials in line with the Philippine Red Cross' identity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Digital and Technical Content Creation and Dissemination (60%)

● Produce training materials used for all Safety Services Training Courses, including but not limited to:

Reference Manuals

Instructor Manuals

Workbooks

Brochures

Instructional Videos

● Content creation and media outreach

● Develop key promotional messages in consultation with the department

● Disseminate public relations materials to local communication platforms and partner media agencies

● Work closely with PRC's Communication Department in the development and strengthening of the Safety Services' activities

● Participates in the development and evaluation of feasibility, efficiency and quality of Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials

● Development of possible training platforms

● Coordinate to training coordinator in the development of marketing strategy.

● Support and conduct instructor's training course

Monitoring and Evaluation (15%)

● Monitor the communication materials and platforms, in general 1 HRRF002 | Job Description

● Create strategies to effectively engage audience through communication materials

● Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, investors and audiences that will help advance the department's efforts

● Participates in the development and evaluation of feasibility, efficiency and quality of Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials

Management (15%)

● Ensure digital marketing content aligns with PRC's identity and message, and assist with marketing campaigns as needed.

● Assist the Safety Services' Chapter Service Representatives in the creation of media content.

Administration and Support (10%)

● Ensure that all media engagement is properly documented and recorded.

● Assist the Manager of Safety Services, Chapter Service Representatives and Safety Services team as required.

● Perform other duties as may be assigned by superiors.

Qualifications/Minimum Education:

● Bachelor's Degree – Graduate of Communication Arts, Journalism, Public Relations and other related programs

Personal Qualities:

● Ability to make decisions in-line with organizational goals and values

● Ability to manage multiple tasks

● Collaborates with team members to achieve shared outcomes

● Flexibility and a willingness to contribute outside standard office hours

● Ability to build relationships

Work Experience & Skills:

● Ability to develop and implement communication campaigns

● Exceptional interpersonal communication skills

● Ability to write technical and creative materials

● Demonstrated proficiency with photo and video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere/Vegas Pro, and etc.

Equipment Used: Safety Services specific equipment, computer, camera, tripod, LED lights, drawing pad, scanner, printer, copier, telephone and fax machine

Working Environment: Office-based and field work
