Position Title: National Field Representative – Research and Development
Department: Safety Services
Reports To: Safety Services Manager
Location: PRC Tower
Purpose Statement
To manage and maintain all safety Services training materials and IEC materials
Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and Development (70%)
● Maintain and Improve training materials used for all Safety Services training courses including but not limited to:
Reference manuals
Instructor manuals
Manuals
Course content
Audio visual training aids
Brochures
Training Centre
Standard Checklist
● Conduct research and development program.
● Ensure that all training are aligned in the international and national protocols, guidelines and policies.
● Collaborate with other NFR for the updating of safety services training courses.
● Develop program for safety services volunteer retention and development.
● Support and conduct instructor's training course
Monitoring and Evaluation (10%)
● Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the Chapters delivery of the Safety Services training programs.
● Develop monitoring and evaluation tool for the safety services programs.
● Analyze the output of all training programs
● Provides proper recommendation for the improvement of the programs.
Management (10%)
● Perform regular evaluation of the training programs.
● Ensure that all training from NHQ and local chapter are aligned with the Policy and Guidelines and protocols set by the PRC.
Administration and Support (10%)
● Provide information and data as requested.
● Ensure that all documents are properly recorded.
● Assist the Head of Safety Services, Training Unit, Chapters Service Representatives and Safety Services team as required.
● Assist national lead trainers with facilitation of Safety Services training as required
● Perform other duties as maybe assigned by superiors.
Qualifications/Minimum Education:
● Bachelor's Degree – Graduate of a 4-year course Education or Research
● Undergone all Safety Services Training
Personal Qualities:
● Ability to make decisions in-line with organizational goals and values
● Ability to manage multiple tasks
● Collaborates with team members to achieve shared outcomes
● Flexibility and a willingness to contribute outside standard office hours
● Ability to build relationships
Work Experience & Skills:
● Demonstrated proficiency with applications such as Word, Excel, PPT
● Exceptional interpersonal skills, including communication, coaching and training
Equipment Used: Safety Services specific equipment, computer, scanner, printer, copier, telephone and fax machine.
Working Environment: Office Based and Field Work
