About the Role

Join our engineering team to help maintain and improve our AWS Lambda-based Online Trust Monitors. You'll primarily work with code in Visual Studio Code (VS Code) connected to AWS Lambda, ensuring our trust monitoring functions are up-to-date, reliable, and secure. You'll also support the display of these monitors on our platform, which uses PHP, HTML, and CSS. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, update, and test AWS Lambda functions ).
  • Work in VS Code with Lambda-connected projects.
  • Debug and improve code for reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with team to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality updates.
  • Support the integration and display of monitors using PHP, HTML, and CSS.
  • Follow coding best practices, participate in code reviews, and write clear documentation.

Must-Have Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience with at least one programming language used in AWS Lambda or Python).
  • Familiarity with VS Code as a primary development environment.
  • Basic understanding of PHP for web display and backend integration.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS for presenting monitoring results.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and work in a cloud/serverless environment.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with AWS Lambda or other serverless/cloud functions.
  • Knowledge of Laravel (PHP framework).
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
  • Previous exposure to Agile teams or code reviews.
