Role: DevOps Engineer (AWS Infrastructure & Automation Specialist)

About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with proven expertise in AWS infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to join our growing technology team. This role plays a critical part in designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud environments, enabling faster development cycles, and ensuring the reliability and security of production systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless code deployment and release management.
  • Manage and monitor production systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Automate routine operational tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripts.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline deployment workflows.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Ensure cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize performance across environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, VPC, etc.).
  • Strong experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Familiar with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK).
  • Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and cloud security concepts.
  • Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Shell for automation.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or Solutions Architect).
  • Experience in serverless architectures or hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of GitOps or policy-as-code frameworks.
