About the Role:

We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work remotely with an Australian client on exciting, large-scale projects. The ideal candidate has deep experience in React, Python, and AWS serverless technologies, and thrives in a collaborative, cloud-driven environment.

You'll be responsible for building scalable applications, managing cloud infrastructure, and contributing to technical decisions that drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain modern web applications using React, , and TypeScript
  • Build and deploy backend services with Python, , and AWS Lambda
  • Manage infrastructure using Terraform, Serverless Framework, and AWS services
  • Work with Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL for data processing and analytics
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization via Auth0
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, CircleCI, and AWS Copilot
  • Monitor performance and reliability with NewRelic and AWS tools

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of professional experience with React (including and TypeScript)
  • Strong backend experience using Python, , and AWS Lambda
  • Proven hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Serverless architectures
  • Solid understanding of Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL databases (especially PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Auth0, GitHub, CircleCI, AWS Copilot, Jira, Confluence, and NewRelic
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Backstage ) plugin development
  • Strong grasp of CI/CD best practices and cloud infrastructure automation
  • Knowledge of scalability, performance tuning, and monitoring in production environments
