Role Summary:

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative, coordination, and execution tasks within gateway operations. This role ensures efficient workflow between Sortation, Linehaul, and Shuttling by providing timely documentation, reporting, and cross-functional coordination

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support

  • Assist in coordinating daily gateway activities, including tracking of parcel movement and documentation.
  • Facilitate real-time communication between ground operations, sortation teams, and linehaul partners.
  • Monitor and escalate delays or bottlenecks in parcel flow and assist in implementing quick resolutions.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Compile and prepare daily and weekly operational reports (e.g., productivity, delays, sort volume).
  • Ensure timely encoding and accuracy of operations data into systems.
  • Track team attendance, resource deployment, and equipment utilization for reporting and validation.

Coordination and Communication

  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Ground Ops, Linehaul, Support Group) to ensure consistent service levels.
  • Maintain scheduling and support documentation for shift transitions and team handovers.
  • Relay instructions and updates from supervisors to teams and provide feedback to management.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of college education in Business, Operations, or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or administrative coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and operational tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
  • Flexible with shifting schedules and able to support overtime when needed.
