Job Description

  • Gain a deep insight into business operations, objectives, and challenges to ensure that data initiatives are closely aligned with the organization's priorities. This involves maintaining ongoing communication with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to stay informed about evolving business needs and market dynamics.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify data-related issues impacting business processes and operational efficiency. Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies—including ad hoc reports, data standardization, data cleaning, and process automation—that ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including Business Intelligence technical engineers, finance, operations, and senior management, to define requirements and adapt workflows or processes based on data-driven insights.
  • Translate complex data findings into actionable insights, directly linking data analysis to business metrics and demonstrating its impact on organizational goals.
  • Prioritize data projects and initiatives based on their potential impact on business outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging data analysis techniques relevant to the specific business domain, including the adoption of new processes to enhance reporting tools and systems.
  • Perform statistical analysis and modeling to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related quantitative field
  • With a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience
  • Experience translating data insights into actionable business recommendations
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • SQL: knowledge of advanced joins, subqueries, aggregations and window functions
  • Python, R or any equivalent programming language: experience using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn for data analysis and modeling. Familiarity with data visualization libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Must be willing to station in Podium, Pasig office
  • Amenable to travel
