JOB DESCRIPTION

The
Business Analyst/Tester
role requires experience in any ERP system (e.g. SAP) or software development of any IT application to support the analysis, validation, and testing of system enhancement requests. It involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to assess the feasibility of requests, document requirements, and perform testing to ensure high-quality system changes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for SAP system enhancements and change requests.

Validate enhancement requests against existing SAP and integration functionality to determine feasibility and alignment with business processes.

Collaborate with SAP functional/technical teams to translate business needs into functional specifications.

Support the design and execution of test cases for system changes, enhancements, and fixes.

Conduct functional and regression testing to ensure system stability and accuracy of delivered solutions.

Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by coordinating with business users, and documenting results.

Track defects, log issues, and follow up with development teams until resolution.

Prepare requirements documentation, impact assessments, and test results for audit and compliance purposes.

Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.

10.   Provide post-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption of enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Relevant years of experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, or in a related IT/business role.

·       Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

·       Understanding of enterprise applications (SAP ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.) depending on industry is an advantage.

·       Knowledge of databases (basic SQL queries), and system integration concepts.

·       Proficiency in documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.

·       Experienced in field mapping from various data sources to reports, user interfaces, etc.

·       Hands-on experience with project/requirements management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio) a plus.

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between business stakeholders and technical teams.

·       Experienced in test case preparation, system testing, UAT, and defect management.

·       Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·       Amenable to report on-site to client office
