Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Graduate of any bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of solid experience as a Manual Tester
  • Strong experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
  • Solid knowledge of manual testing methodologies and tools
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as HP Quality Center, JIRA, or similar
  • Knowledgeable in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Defect Life Cycle
  • Excellent communication skills—able to clearly explain complex technical information
  • Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge in TOAD is an advantage.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in the banking industry.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes and regulations.
  • Software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automated testing concepts.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing and querying.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on banking software requirements.
  • Execute manual testing to identify software defects and ensure proper functionality.
  • Work closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues and improve overall software quality.
  • Document, track, and report bugs, errors, and deviations from requirements.
  • Perform thorough testing of banking applications such as core banking systems, payment processing, and customer-facing platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and banking standards.
  • Provide clear, detailed test reports and communicate outcomes effectively to stakeholders.
