We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with strong experience in Agile delivery and business systems analysis to support integration, underwriting, and custom application development projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with scrum teams, engaging stakeholders and clients, and ensuring requirements are effectively translated into working solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and manage requirements across business and technical teams.
  • Work closely with the Scrum team to refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
  • Support underwriting and integration projects, ensuring smooth business workflows and accurate system-to-system interactions.
  • Contribute to custom application development projects, providing functional input and validating deliverables.
  • Perform unit and manual testing to confirm solutions meet requirements before deployment.
  • Create and maintain documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, addressing challenges and ensuring alignment on project objectives.
  • Participate in client-facing activities, such as requirement workshops, demos, and user acceptance testing sessions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment for 5 to 7 years. (Non Negotiable)
  • Strong understanding of requirement management, user stories, and acceptance criteria. (Non Negotiable)
  • Experience with stakeholder management and client-facing engagements. (Non Negotiable)
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing or manual validation of business requirements. (Non Negotiable)
  • Exposure to underwriting processes, business systems, or integration projects. (Non Negotiable)
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product owners. (Non negotiable)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in custom application development projects.
  • Background in insurance, financial services, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile/project management tools.
