Job Purpose:

The Operations Head oversees retail store performance and warehouse support, ensuring sales growth, excellent customer experience, and efficient backend operations. The role is primarily focused on driving store operations and sales, with strategic oversight of store expansion and set-up, while coordinating with cross-functional teams for execution.


Key Responsibilities:

Retail & Store Operations

  • Manage daily operations of all stores and retail counters to achieve sales and service excellence.
  • Drive sales performance through effective merchandising, promotions, and staff productivity.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of customer service standards, SOPs, and visual guidelines.
  • Lead manpower planning for stores: recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.

Store Set-Up:

  • Provide strategic oversight and approval of new store openings, including site readiness, layout, and visual standards.
  • Coordinate with Admin/Facilities, Marketing, and HR for the execution of store launches.
  • Ensure store expansion plans are aligned with company strategy.

Warehouse & Inventory Coordination:

  • Ensure accurate and timely replenishment of stocks from warehouse to stores.
  • Oversee stock monitoring and coordinate with warehouse managers for efficiency and compliance.
  • Review inventory reports and variances for corrective actions.

General Management:

  • Monitor and analyze operational KPIs (sales, customer feedback, inventory, shrinkage).
  • Implement loss prevention measures and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government labor and retail regulations.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in retail operations management.
  • Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Background in warehouse/inventory coordination is an advantage.
  • Exposure to store setup/expansion projects (at oversight/approval level).
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willing to travel frequently to oversee multiple branches and warehouse activities.
