Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Head is a strategic and results-oriented leader responsible for overseeing and driving both sales and marketing operations. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage dual functions without compromise, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. The ideal candidate possesses strong strategic planning skills, keen attention to detail, and a consistently positive attitude toward work and colleagues. Prior experience in the ICT or Telecommunication industry is considered a strong advantage. This position plays a critical role in revenue generation, brand positioning, and cross-functional collaboration to support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and implement cohesive sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to adjust tactics and seize new opportunities
- Collaborate with senior leadership in setting quarterly and annual growth targets
Sales Leadership
- Oversee and manage the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals
- Lead, coach, and support the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships for long-term business growth
Marketing Oversight
- Drive brand awareness through digital and traditional marketing initiatives
- Ensure consistency in messaging, positioning, and visual branding across all platforms
- Lead the creation and execution of campaigns, events, and promotional strategies
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor KPIs, provide regular performance reports, and recommend action plans
- Utilize CRM systems and marketing tools to track effectiveness and ROI
Team Collaboration & Culture
- Foster a collaborative environment between sales and marketing teams
- Champion a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and positivity
- Work closely with product, operations, and customer service teams to ensure alignment
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum of 10 years) in a leadership role covering both Sales and Marketing.
- Good to solid experience in handling and managing a team for both sales and marketing functions.
- ICT/Telecommunications industry experience is a strong plus.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools, marketing automation, and sales tracking systems.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Can start immediately (ASAP).
- Practices and promotes work-life balance while maintaining high productivity.
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality.
Specific skills & abilities:
- Ability to develop and execute long-term sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Skilled in evaluating market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes.
- Proficiency in using CRM platforms to manage leads, track pipelines, and optimize conversions.
- Advanced negotiation skills and proven ability to close high-value deals.
- Strong background in identifying new business opportunities and growing client portfolios.
- Proficiency in SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Ability to design, implement, and evaluate successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Understanding of products, services, and trends within the sector is a strong advantage.
