Position Title: Project Assistant

No. Required: 2

Project Contractual for 6 to 12 months

The Project Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and execution of I.T. development projects by providing administrative, logistical, and technical assistance to the project team. This role helps ensure project deliverables are met on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
  • Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, reports, and status updates.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for project documentation.
  • Manage communication between stakeholders, developers, and team members.
  • Coordinate travel, logistics, and procurement of materials if needed.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, user manuals, and progress reports.
  • Collect and compile data for performance metrics, reports, and presentations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for project-related inquiries.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and consultants.
  • Help manage project management tools.
  • Assist in the testing and review of software applications or platforms, if required.
  • Support the documentation of bugs, change requests, and feedback from users.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a project support role, preferably in an I.T. or software development environment.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Exposure to I.T. projects in government or enterprise settings is an advantage.
