Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer; other certifications are an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and manage project tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of materials quality control and construction standards is an advantage.
  • Experience in quantity surveying and material take-off processes is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in CAD software is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials and labor (Quantity Surveying).
  • Conduct site investigations and assessments to resolve technical challenges and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Supervise and monitor construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Oversee materials testing and quality control to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and project protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation and reports.
  • Use CADD tools (if applicable) for revisions, mark-ups, or review of plans (advantageous).
