Description

The Patient Monitoring Specialist is responsible for reviewing and recording patient data such as vitals, oxygen levels, and symptoms. Identifies abnormal results and reports them as needed. Communicates with patients and caregivers, provides guidance on monitoring equipment, and supports home-based care. Ensures accurate documentation and compliance with data privacy rules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and record patient data (vitals, oxygen levels, sleep activity, symptoms)
  • Identify and report abnormal readings or trends
  • Communicate with patients and caregivers for guidance and support
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
  • Support home-based care and provide feedback to improve processes
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Experience in a healthcare-related support role, preferably in VA healthcare, telehealth, or patient monitoring
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High attention to detail and ability to respond promptly to patient needs
  • Proficient in computer systems, EHR tools, and remote monitoring platforms
  • Prior experience supporting U.S.-based healthcare clients
  • Familiarity with RPM systems, patient data tracking, or chronic care coordination
