We are scaling our commercial loan book and seeking a driven outbound sales caller to generate opportunities for our BDMs. Our clients include brokers, borrowers, developers, and professional introducers, and we pride ourselves on building genuine relationships and delivering flexible lending outcomes.
Role Overview:We are seeking a full-time outbound sales caller to act as a first point of contact with prospective clients. This role is not a virtual assistant position — it requires strong sales acumen to initiate conversations, create interest, and connect prospects with our BDMs. The caller will work from our internal database to open doors, uncover opportunities, and arrange meetings for our BDMs to follow up and build relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to brokers, borrowers, developers, and introducers.
- Hold engaging, consultative conversations to identify prospects' needs.
- Maintain accurate call and meeting records
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings directly with BDMs.
- Meet agreed activity and meeting-booking targets.
- Provide weekly reports on activities and results.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in outbound calling, lead generation, or appointment setting, preferably in B2B or financial services.
- Personable, confident, and able to build rapport quickly.
- Comfortable discussing commercial lending concepts.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, target-driven, takes initiative, works independently, and provides feedback and updates weekly.
Engagement Details:
- Pilot Program: 6 months, with potential for permanent placement based on results.
- Performance Metrics: Number and quality of meetings booked for BDMs, and conversion to settlements.
- Future Opportunities: High performers may progress to a Business Development Associate role with performance-based bonus incentives after the pilot.
