Position Overview

The General Manager (GM) is the senior executive responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the business unit. The GM oversees strategy, operations, finances, and talent to drive growth, profitability, and customer excellence. Responsibilities span across setting vision, executing plans, optimizing processes, managing P&L, and developing high-performance teams.

Key Responsibilities

●     Strategic Leadership

  1. Develop, communicate, and implement short- and long-term business strategies aligned with company goals.
  2. Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for revenue growth, diversification, and partnership.

●     Operational Excellence

  1. Oversee day-to-day operations guaranteeing efficiency, high quality, and safety across departments.
  2. Establish and maintain policies, operational guidelines, and performance standards.
  3. Drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

●     Financial & Performance Management

  1. Prepare, manage, and control budgets; analyze financial statements and KPI.
  2. Ensure P&L targets are met through effective cost control, pricing, and spending optimization.
  3. Provide timely financial and operational reports to stakeholders.

●     Human Capital & Culture

  1. Set performance expectations, conduct reviews, and implement engagement initiatives.
  2. Foster an inclusive, high-performing, and safety-conscious culture.

●     Customer Focus & Market Positioning

  1. Promote customer-centric practices to drive satisfaction, retention, and brand loyalty.
  2. Collaborate with marketing/sales teams to create promotions, strengthen brand positioning, and capture market share.

●     Stakeholder Engagement

  1. Act as the company's on-ground representative with clients, suppliers, regulators, and community groups.
  2. Maintain transparent communication with shareholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field

Experience: At least 5 years in senior leadership roles, preferably in similar industries.
