About the role

We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead our prestigious CITY GARDEN GRAND HOTEL' in the heart of Makati City, Metro Manila. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations and ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest experience. This is a full-time, on-site role.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive the hotel's financial performance and growth
  • Providing strong leadership and direction to the hotel management team, empowering them to excel in their roles
  • Ensuring adherence to brand standards, policies and procedures to maintain the hotel's reputation and service quality
  • Overseeing all hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and facilities management
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with guests, employees, and local community stakeholders
  • Identifying and capitalising on opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the guest experience
  • Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

What we're looking for

  • Substantial experience (8+ years) in a General Manager or equivalent senior leadership role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence in a hotel environment
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions
  • Highly proficient in all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and facilities management
  • Thorough understanding of the local and global hospitality market, as well as industry trends and best practices
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
