Overview

We are a global software company seeking a strategic leader to manage and develop the General Accounting team. The role is responsible for executing and enhancing general accounting processes, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the General Accounting team, setting performance targets and supporting effective team development.
  • Engage with stakeholders and provide regular reporting to ensure alignment and transparency across the organization.
  • Oversee the execution and governance of General Accounting processes in accordance with service agreements and process standards to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Lead and contribute to automation and process optimization initiatives within General Accounting to support overall efficiency.
  • Oversee KPI tracking and budget management to ensure alignment with organizational goals and operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance Operations and other functions to foster strong partnerships and ensure strategic alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing calendars and the timely delivery of financial reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ideally holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in General Accounting and Finance functions, including: Management of General Accounting teams, Stakeholder engagement and reporting, and Continuous process improvements
  • Strong understanding of General Accounting processes
  • Experience in KPI tracking and budget management
  • Demonstrates a customer-centric mindset
  • Proven leadership and business partnering skills
  • Ability to drive change initiatives with diverse stakeholders
  • Proactive approach to fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Amenable to work onsite or in a hybrid setup in Makati City.
