Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Learning and Development Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources, particularly in talent acquisition, training, and employee development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning, strong communication skills, and a desire to contribute to the growth of our organization.

Duties

  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for employees.
  • Support the recruitment process by sourcing candidates through various channels including social media management and campus recruitment.
  • Participate in interviewing candidates and conducting employee orientation sessions.
  • Collaborate with HR teams on talent management initiatives, including succession planning and employee evaluation processes.
  • Conduct research on best practices in learning and development, as well as employment and labor law compliance.
  • Help maintain accurate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Lever, Workday, or iCIMS.
  • Engage in relationship management with potential hires through cold calling and follow-up communications.
  • Assist with internal recruiting efforts and support executive recruiting initiatives as needed.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Familiarity with technical recruiting, talent acquisition strategies, and HR sourcing techniques.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law principles is a plus.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Paychex, Kronos, UltiPro, or Taleo is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools for lead generation activities.
  • Ability to manage relationships effectively while demonstrating strong research skills.
  • Understanding of training & development methodologies and employee relations best practices.
