Job description

The Supply Chain Associate - Inventory is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, optimizing stock levels, and coordinating with internal departments to maintain seamless supply chain operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to implement inventory control measures to support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels align with operational demands.
  • Stock Reconciliation: Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and analyze variances.
  • Receiving & Issuance: Coordinate the receiving, storage, and issuance of materials, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
  • Supplier Coordination: Work closely with procurement and suppliers to track deliveries and manage inventory replenishment.
  • Data & Reporting: Prepare inventory reports, analyze stock movement, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements for inventory management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining inventory processes and minimizing stock discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive, heavy equipment, or logistics industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of demand planning, procurement, or logistics.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards related to inventory control is an advantage.
