Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Supply Chain Associate to support our food import and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will assist in the coordination of import activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely receiving of products. This role is essential for maintaining effective operational processes in our dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Import Documentation Management:

  • Assist in preparing and processing import documentation, including customs forms, invoices, and shipping manifests.
  • Ensure all import paperwork complies with local, national, and international regulations.

Inventory Management:

  • Help manage inventory levels of imported food products and track incoming shipments.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies with suppliers.

Order Processing:

  • Support the preparation and processing of purchase orders specifically for imported goods.
  • Collaborate with international suppliers to facilitate timely and accurate deliveries.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate the logistics of import shipments, including scheduling and tracking shipments and liaising with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Monitor shipping statuses and proactively address any delays or issues that arise.

Compliance and Quality Control:

  • Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with food safety regulations, import laws, and quality standards.
  • Assist in conducting quality assurance checks on imported products to ensure they meet company specifications.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of import activities, inventory levels, and supplier interactions in the company database.
  • Generate reports on import supply chain activities and inventory statuses as requested.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Support communication between various departments, including procurement, sales, and logistics teams.
  • Assist in resolving any supply chain challenges by collaborating with team members and external partners.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and improvements.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years of work experience in import/export logistics, supply chain, or food distribution is an advantage
  • Fresh graduates can be considered, provided that they get a satisfactory remark on the application exam

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data analysis tools.

OTHERS:

  • Knowledge of food safety standards and import compliance is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Chinese Mandarin and English is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php17, Php20,000.00 per month
