Job Summary

The Electrical Site Engineer will be responsible for managing and supervising all electrical activities on-site related to solar energy projects. This includes installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems. The role requires a licensed electrical engineer with proven experience in the solar industry and strong leadership and technical expertise to ensure efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site electrical work for solar power installations.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and engineering specifications.
  • Review and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and project documents.
  • Lead and monitor electricians, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely execution.
  • Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and contractors for technical and operational alignment.
  • Prepare progress reports, inspection checklists, and documentation of site activities.
  • Ensure the implementation of safety practices and site protocols.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections across various project locations as required.
  • Recommend process improvements and technical solutions for project optimization.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (PRC)
  • With experience in the Solar or Renewable Energy Industry
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in electrical site supervision or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Proficient in electrical tools, schematics, and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Willing to travel and visit multiple site locations nationwide.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in medium to large-scale solar projects.
  • Familiarity with local electrical codes and renewable energy standards.
  • Strong understanding of project documentation and quality assurance.

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
