Job Summary

The Technical Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance and services to the Sales Team, contributing to business development through product research, preparation of technical data sheets, catalogs, presentation materials, and cable design/construction drawings. This role plays a vital part in supporting product applications, presentations, and customer engagement.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduct Applications

• Conduct Value Engineering (VE) studies for existing and new product wiring applications.
• Provide technical support to customers and the Sales Team regarding product specifications, cable constructions, and applications.
• Review customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Prepare technical and product information for the Sales Team and clients (e.g., electrical characteristics, ampacities, packaging, and installation guides).

Product / Technical & Value Engineering (VE) Solution Presentation

• Develop customized product presentation materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct technical presentations to electrical designers, customers, and contractors to promote company products and services.
• Facilitate Value Engineering presentations, highlighting cost-effective and practical solutions.
• Attend technical and coordination meetings with clients to discuss VE and company projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements.

Promotion of ENGAGE (Engineering Advantage) – Pre-Sale and After-Sale Technical Services

• Conduct pre-installation training for contractors, engineers, and cable installers.
• Perform on-site installation audits and thermal scanning post-energization to ensure quality and safety.
• Oversee ENGAGE Project implementation, coordinating procurement, installation, and testing of VE and innovative cable solutions.
• Collaborate with contractors and designers to promote ENGAGE, especially for new product introductions.

Others

• Submit reports and administrative requirements on time to support team operations.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Work collaboratively with plant cable designers and process engineers to maintain product consistency.
• Stay updated on new wire and cable technologies and industry developments.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Electrical Engineer Board Passer is an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Technical Engineer and/or Business Development Analyst (preferably from a manufacturing firm of electrical wire and cable products).
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Skilled in AutoCAD for creating detailed technical drawings and plans.
• Advanced knowledge of wire and cable products and applications.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, product specifications, and the preparation of electrical plans.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for solving engineering problems and developing project estimates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
