About the role

Zirconia Inc. is seeking a full-time Procurement Staff to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our procurement operations and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and supplies necessary for our manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and source suitable vendors and suppliers
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and terms
  • Liaising with logistics and transportation providers to coordinate the delivery of goods
  • Monitoring and analysing procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory management
  • Providing administrative support, such as generating reports and maintaining procurement documentation

What we're looking for

  • 1-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers
  • Proficient in the use of procurement software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles, inventory control, and cost-saving strategies
