Senior Accounting Officer will handle Japan affiliated company. This position will be based in Makati Head Office. You will handle month end closing of books, collections, disbursements, bookkeeping, tax, internal & external audit, compliance and other day-to-day accounting and finance operations of Japan entity.

Job Description:

  • Handles the month end closing reports of Japan entity.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Flow)
  • Prepare special monthly reports like Villa Owners Financial Statement, Staff Cost Summary and others
  • Prepares accurate and timely Daily Revenue Report
  • Supports the completion of all balance sheet accounts reconciliation on a monthly basis and prepares the necessary adjustments.
  • Coordinates with tax and accounting issues identified and noted in the daily reclassification and review of revenue transactions
  • Preparation of weekly report to Online Travel Agencies
  • Assist Management in analysis of accounts as business partner supporting various finance  initiatives and projects.

Who We're Looking For:

  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • With experience handling a team
  • Preferably with experience in regional finance set up
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
