We are looking for an experienced Accounting Officer specializing in Billing and Collections to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accurate billing, monitoring receivables, coordinating collections, and attending client meetings to ensure smooth account reconciliation and payment processing.

  • Prepare, review, and issue accurate billing statements and invoices to clients in accordance with agreed terms and timelines.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Maintain and update customer accounts, ensuring accurate records of payments and outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile billing and collection records with accounting books.
  • Attend meetings and coordinate with partner clients regarding billing issues, payment schedules, and collection status.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
  • Prepare aging of accounts receivable reports and assist in collection strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing and collections.
  • Assist in audit preparation by providing necessary billing and collection documentation.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or any related field (is a plus)
  • At least 2–3 years of solid experience in billing and collections, preferably in a corporate or client-facing environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, billing procedures, and collection practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and accounting systems/software.
  • Proficient in VLookup, XLookup, Pivot Table is a plus
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills when dealing with clients and internal teams.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Willing to attend client meetings and represent the company in a professional manner.
