Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Retail Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives and expand our market presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across our retail operations. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and strong leadership to propel the company's expansion and maintain its competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets for new markets, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify new trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, and use these insights to inform business strategies.
  • Partnership and Alliance Management: Proactively identify, build, and nurture relationships with potential partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders to create mutually beneficial business alliances.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Lead the negotiation and closing of new contracts and agreements. Develop and manage a sales pipeline, and forecast sales to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Brand and Reputation Management: Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance Gaisano Brothers, Inc.'s profile and network.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a business development or sales team (if applicable) to ensure targets are met and a culture of continuous improvement is fostered.
  • Operational Improvement: Collaborate with various internal departments, including Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations, to ensure seamless integration of new initiatives and optimize business processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a business development, sales, or retail management role, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, growing a business, and managing key accounts.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and strategic mindset.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
