Job Summary
A Business Development Manager (BDM) is a strategic, senior-level role responsible for driving business growth and increasing revenue for an organization. They are tasked with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy. This dynamic role requires a blend of strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding business goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive and results-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively across different departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Growth Strategies: Create and implement effective business development strategies that align with company objectives. This includes identifying new markets, industries, and potential clients to expand the company's presence.
- Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and assess the competitive landscape to uncover new business opportunities. This involves lead generation through various methods, including networking, cold calling, and social media.
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Understand client needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Forge Strategic Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate mutually beneficial partnerships and alliances that support the company's strategic goals and market expansion.
- Proposal and Contract Management: Draft and present compelling business proposals and presentations. Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company policies and objectives.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on progress and performance.
- Financial Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor budgets, assess pricing models, and forecast revenue and sales targets. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies as needed.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and train executive assistants, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing deals.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret market data and develop effective business plans.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate a value proposition clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional relationship-building, networking, and negotiation skills. The ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders is crucial.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in using CRM software as well as other business and sales tools.
- Results-Oriented: A self-driven, highly motivated, and organized individual with a strong desire to succeed and a history of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Leadership: The ability to lead, guide, and motivate a team.
Work Setup: Onsite (I.T. Park, Cebu City), Flexible shift, usually from 4:00 am to 1:00 pm PHT
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
