Job Overview:
The Area Sales and Operations Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the comprehensive performance and efficiency of multiple service locations operating under various business concepts within a defined geographical area. This position demands a strategic and execution-oriented leader who will drive sales growth, optimize operational efficiency, ensure exceptional service quality and customer experiences, and effectively lead and develop Service Leaders and their teams. The Area Sales and Operations Manager will be instrumental in implementing business strategies at the local level, fostering a culture of high performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Drives Sales Performance: Develops and executes sales strategies to meet targets, monitors trends, and optimizes revenue across all locations.
- Ensures Operational Excellence: Develops and implements operational policies, conducts reviews and audits, and identifies areas for improvement.
- Maintains Quality Standards: Monitors and evaluates service quality, addressing concerns and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Enhances Customer Experience: Champions a customer-focused culture, monitors feedback, and implements strategies to elevate satisfaction.
- Leads & Develops Service Leaders: Trains, coaches, and mentors Service Leaders, fostering growth and a positive work environment.
- Generates Reports & Analysis: Produces regular reports on KPIs (sales, efficiency, audits, feedback) and provides actionable insights to leadership.
- Facilitates Communication & Collaboration: Maintains effective communication with Service Leaders and internal departments, participating in cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in a management role within a retail or service environment. Candidates with multi-unit management experience are highly preferred, but we welcome applicants with a strong track record of success in a single-store leadership position.
- Core Skills: Strong understanding of retail/service operations, sales management, inventory control, and customer service principles.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on driving both sales and operational excellence.
- Analytical Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales and operational data.
- Other: Effective communication and presentation skills. Must have the ability to travel within the assigned area.
